From 1st April 2019 Gabapentin and Pregabalin will be classed as controlled drugs. This means that prescriptions for these medications can only be collected from reception with proof of photo ID.

They can no longer be sent to your chemist.  Please bear this in mind when ordering your repeat prescriptions.

Pharmacists must dispense the drugs within 28 days of the prescription being written.

If you have any questions please speak to the Reception Manager.

Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

Teaching & Training

We are an approved training practice for fully qualified doctors to gain experience of General Practice. The GP Registrars usually work in the Practice for six months conducting surgeries, home visits and clinics etc. At all times responsibility for patient care remains with the Partners.

You may occasionally be asked if we can videotape your consultation with the GP. This will only be done with your consent and the camera will be switched off at your request.

We also teach medical students and student nurses. They will only attend your consultation with your permission.
