From 1st April 2019 Gabapentin and Pregabalin will be classed as controlled drugs. This means that prescriptions for these medications can only be collected from reception with proof of photo ID.

They can no longer be sent to your chemist.  Please bear this in mind when ordering your repeat prescriptions.

Pharmacists must dispense the drugs within 28 days of the prescription being written.

If you have any questions please speak to the Reception Manager.

Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

New Patient Registration

Please ask at reception for details of how to register as a patient. You will be asked to complete a registration form and patient information card. If you are registering your children as well as yourself you will be asked for their immunisation details.

Our practice area limits acceptance of registrations. You must also be ordinarily resident in the UK and will be asked to show proof of residence (recent utility bill/council tax bill from the last 3 months) as well as photographic ID (passport or drivers licence) when you complete your registration.

The practice covers the following areas Jesmond, South Gosforth, Gosforth, Kenton, Fawdon, Kingston Park, Brunton Park, Melton Park and Whitebridge Park.
